HOTEL HAUNTING

This is actually my mother's story, but since she doesn't have a computer I decided to enter it for her.

She was nine years old at the time and she was staying with her Grandmother and Grandfather. They owned this old creaky hotel in Seneca, Oregon. This grand hotel was used for the miners and their visitors back in the 1800's. My mother told me she felt very uneasy as she walked into the place and that night when they put her to bed in a second story room she felt worse. She said she lay there and tried to go to sleep but her nerves kept her eyes open. Around Midnight she heard walking outside her room on the outside balcony. She looked out of pure curiosity and what she saw still hasn't left her today. A shadow of a manly figure wearing a wide brimmed hat and a old suit was carrying a cane and going past her window. She didn't get up or call out to it, but pulled the blankets up around her head and stayed that way until morning. They tore the old hotel down years ago, but my mother says every time she drives by the site where it used to be she gets that weird feeling!
