INVISIBLE FRIENDS OR VISITORS FROM BEYOND?
After being told for eight years that I would never have a child, I suddenly found myself pregnant. My husband and I were thrilled, and I gave birth to a beautiful baby boy. He’s our little miracle baby, which may explain why he seems to attract ghostly spirits.
We first noticed it when he was only a few weeks old. Whenever he was fussy, a light would appear
on our ceiling, and he would calm down immediately, and coo. We never found the source
of that light, but sure appreciated its help in keeping him happy!
Other times, we would find things in his room
moved, or notice him smiling into the air. We
were never afraid, until one day when his gramma
brought over some toys she had bought for our son
at a garage sale. I was uncomfortable with one
stuffed bear, but didn't know why, and dismissed
the notion. I put it in his room with his other
bears. Later that night, he woke up screaming.
Our normally happy 1 year old was in hysterics,
but I chalked it up to teething, and after a few
hours, he exhausted himself and fell asleep. The
next night he wouldn't go to bed. He'd stand up
in his crib as soon as we put him in, wailing to
come out. It took 3 hours, but we finally got
him to sleep. A little while later, he woke up
screaming again, this time pointing at the bear.
I promptly threw it in the trash and took it
outside – we've never had that problem since.
When Ty was 1 ½, we decided to try for another
child, hoping for another miracle. Nothing
happened at first, but in the middle of the
night, despite them being off, Ty’s battery
operated toys would start up – music would play,
voices would count and do ABC’s. This went on
for a couple of weeks, and was very disturbing –
not scary, just annoying. One day, it just
stopped, and a little while later, I found out I
was pregnant. I think the new baby was just
checking things out, and Ty gave it the OK. When
I asked Ty if he had met the new baby and if
mommy was having a boy or a girl, he just smiled
coyly.
I'm due in the spring, and no toys go off at
night anymore. Ty has a new friend
named “Baboo”, who he has invented his own
language to converse with. I don't know who
Baboo is, he may be just an imaginary friend.
But, given our history, I think it’s yet another
spirit who had befriended our son. I just hope
they STAY friendly!
