The Mortuary was overwhelming - there is definitely something in there, we could feel it, I found it impossible to stay inside whilst the guide talked about the stories. The smell of Phenol you find in there is kept up by the Station to give the place a nice fresh hospital smell.

Inside the Morgue

Two women who lived at the Station during the 1920's and 30's stated that they often saw a sailor at the window of the mortuary.

The Slab in the Mortuary

The Morgue had a bad habit of opening it's doors all the time, the Station were forced to install locks on the doors to stop the doors opening overnight.

A psychic entering the morgue once had a door slammed in her face by an unseen force.

A woman on a ghost tour one night looked pale and terrified after the tour had finished. When asked what had happened she said she'd seen a man on the slab, but it wasn't someone joking, or the joke body kept on there to trick the ghost tourists. She reported of being the only one who could see this ghostly figure and then apparently spoke to him! She then said that she would never forget what he said to her. "Look what they've done to me! Look what they've done to me" the man exclaimed before exposing an incision which ran from his throat to his navel.
No wonder the lady was white, after seeing something like that!
