VOICE IN THE HALL This happened 2 wks. ago in this house I'm renting. There's definitely activity going on here. I was lying in bed feeling sick. I had my two kids with me so I can watch them, they're one and four. It was about 5:30pm. I heard the metal partitioned hallway closest opening and closing. I'm thinking "What the hell is that?!" So I muted my TV to listen. Mind you, my door is shut. Then I hear my dog being "happy" to see someone. I can hear her wagging her tail into the wall and twisting her body while excitedly panting. So I'm listening, and I hear in my husband's voice, in a nice tone, clear as day, "Where's Mommy?" I said to my son, "Is Daddy home?" Not to be expected until at least 8 or 9 pm. And besides, it's a daily routine that when he comes home, the dog runs to the window to bark at my husband as he pulls up and walks to the door, then the dogs jumps all over him when he comes in. So, I waited a minute and heard nothing else, when I got up and checked out the house, and found nothing. About 45 minutes later when I was up and about I checked the caller ID and the first number I saw was my husband's job. The call came in at 5:33. Why didn't I hear the phone though? I checked the phone and the ringer was off. I know I didn't turn it off. The switch is right under the ear piece. When I told my husband, he was creeped out. Just one of many stories in this house that we are renting. Maybe soon I'll have a psychic come in and tell me what's going on? Submitted From: Debbie, FL, USA
