These stories are not all mine, but some are. Most of
these stories are my mothers or mine. I shall divide these
stories by which they happened two. Mine shall go first.
Story #1.
My grandma had just died not too long ago, and our life
was quite hellish at the time. Well we were sitting
around watching TV, and just talking (Me, My Mom, My Step
Dad Jose) about my grandma, when the lamp shade on the
lamp on the TV started spinning super fast. We were all
freaked because it can’t spin when the screw is on it, and
it was. Later all of us were sitting around trying to
figure out what had happened. Jose tried to pass it off as
wind pressure, but it couldn’t of been because the screw
was on, and there is NO way that the wind could of turned
the screw loose enough for the lamp shade to spin. Me,
and my Mom had a hard time sleeping that night.
Story #2.
One afternoon when Jose was at work, and I was playing a
video game on the computer in the living room I felt
someone scratching my head (Like my grandmother used to
do), and I thought it was my mother (even though I have to
BEG her to do that) When all of a sudden it stopped, and I
turned around to thank my mother, but no one was there,
and then I freaked because I heard my mother in the other
room talking on the phone!!! She swore it wasn’t her. I
was pretty freaked, but at the same time kind of comforted.
Story #3.
I was at my moms work (A nursing home for Old, and kind of
crazy people) with her, and it was probably about 11:30 or
so, and I was talking with Aurora (Moms friend), and she
was telling me some ghost stories about the place, before
she told me to go down to the salon and check it out since
the ghost of a nun is supposed to be there. I agreed
being the superstitious little freak that I am and went
down the long hallway there, and looked around. I didn’t
see anything so I went to leave, before I turned around
for no apparent reason to me and looked through the door
window into the salon (Where they did the old ladies hair
and stuff on Thursdays), and it was really dark, but I saw
something that seemed even darker then the room itself
MOVING inside. I being the coward I am sometimes ran like
hell towards the nurse’s station to where my mom and her
friend were doing some paper work.
Story # 4.
At the time we were living at the same place that the lamp
incident happened, and I NEVER EVER liked the long hallway
separating the apartments, because I always felt like
someone was watching me and I had to run for my life, and
as always I always ran through (Which Jose got really mad
at me for but understood when he found out about what
happens later). Well one day when we were all ready to
move out of that place and we met some inspectors who were
taking pictures of the place, because the owner wanted to
re-model. Later in the day we saw some of the guys
talking to the Manager, and they showed up a photo of the
hallway, and we were shocked to see there was A LOT of
orbs floating around in the picture of the hallway.
Jose’s Stories:
Story #1.
Jose had stayed awake much later then us, and it was about
3 am or so, and he was bored so he decided to bug our dog
(My grandmas dog before she died) and he was really making
her angry, and teasing her and stuff when he thought he
heard someone whisper: “Stop….it…”. Very freaked out he
crawled into bed with my mom and cuddled up to her.
Story #2.
Jose was wide awake at night once again when he came into
the bedroom, after getting a drink of water (after putting
the baby in his crib) and he saw someone who (He described
as how my grandma looked) looked like my grandma standing
over the crib just looking at the baby. He crawled into
bed with mom not the least bit frightened this time, but
kind of spooked.
Story #3.
Jose was sitting on the couch watching TV at night when he
thought he heard a little girl mumbling something that he
couldn’t quite understand. (This has happened a few times
since then)
My mother’s stories:
Story #1.
She was at Vermont Care center one day (Her job), when she
walked into a room to check an old ladies charts, she was
surprised to find the old lady looking at a chair, and
talking as if someone was there. Mom simply looked at the
old woman and said: “Hon who are you talking to?” The old
woman simply replied: “Oh honey don’t you see death
sitting there?” Mom looked at the chair then to her and
said: “Don’t talk to him anymore okay?” The old lady
nodded and mom left the room.
My mom went to work two days later to find out the woman
had passed away while she was gone.
Story #2.
Mother was at her med cart crossing off the names of the
people she had given they’re meds when she thought she saw
this very nice dressed old man pass her by, but when she
turned to say hi he was gone. Later she told one of
the .C.N.As the story and she said that she had, had that
happen to her many a time.
Story #3.
There were two really old, but sweet old ladies
at her work. They always hung out, because one couldn’t
walk well and stayed in bed. The one that walked well
always pulled up a chair beside her friend and they
chatted for hours on end till the other lady fell asleep,
until the one that could walk well died. Now this
saddened the other lady as she much enjoyed her friends
stays, But her friend didn’t totally abandon her in death,
because for a long time after her death when my mother
would pass that room she would see a chair pulled out next
to the old lady who was always asleep.
Thank you for reading my list of ghost stories
