I just have to say, thank God I'm not the only one who
has experienced this sort of thing. I have read several
stories here about ghosts caressing people's legs, hair,
and just touching them. Well, my story is a little similar
to their's. I swear this is all true. And I have not
forgotten it since.
About 4 yrs. ago, when I was 16, my family and I had
just moved into our new house. It was a beautiful, 2 story
home and only needed a little re-painting and cleaning. At
the time we lived in Atlanta, GA.
The first day we lived there, I felt a little uneasy, like someone was watching me. I
also felt cold spots in certain parts of the house-
especially in my room. That night, I couldn't really sleep,
I again, felt very cold and felt that someone was watching
me.
I just brushed it off thinking not much of it and decided
I was being a little silly. So I began to doze off to
sleep, when suddenly I felt someone pull off my covers and
get into bed with me. I just thought it was my little
sister being scared as usual (she usually slept with me
because she was always afraid at night.) So when I asked if
it was her, there was no response. Then it became very cold
again.
I was a little scared at that point, so I turned around
(I was laying on my right side of the bed) and I couldn't
really see because it was almost pitch black in my room,
but I felt someone breathing on my face. I asked again if
it was my sister who was there, but then suddenly, a guy's
voice whispered "no, my name is John." I was so freaked out
that I literally shook! But he told me not to worry and
that he didn't want to hurt me. I felt that he was a
teenager about my age (17 or 18.)
At that point, I didn't feel so scared anymore. He slowly
started rubbing my back and then started kissing it. He was
so cold. I was thinking to myself "My god! what is going
on? Why are you letting this happen?? Am I being seduced by
a ghost?" But I didn't really mind. This was exciting and
interesting. Then suddenly, he got on top of me and started
kissing my neck, I was so startled that I didn't know what
to do. I knew that I had to stop this before it got too
far.
So I asked him to stop. He said he was sorry then he went
away. He had such a nice, soft voice. After he left, I
thought "what the hell just happened?! Are you crazy??" But
I felt that he was a good ghost and meant no harm. I
couldn't believe what just happened though. Shortly after
that, I fell asleep.
The next day, I told my parents that there was a ghost in
the house, as soon as I told them, they got scared and told
us to pack our bags. I told them that he was harmless, but
they didn't want to take any chances and they said they
didn't really like the house in the first place. My parents
believed me because I'm not the type of person who would lie
or joke around about that type of thing. So after we packed
up and everything, I went into my room to say goodbye to
John.
I opened the door and saw him looking out the window. He
turned around, and for the first time, I finally saw what
he looked like. He had the most saddest eyes I've ever
seen, and had light brown hair, he was about 5'7 and I was
right, he looked about my age. He was handsome, but yet he
looked so sad, and for some reason, I didn't feel so scared
around him. I said goodbye to him, and he just waved then
slowly vanished. I was crying afterwards, because he seemed
so sad and lonely, it was as if I was feeling what he felt.
About a couple weeks later, we moved to Washington (where
I live right now) and found out about the house's history.
Apparently 10 yrs. ago, an 18 yr. old boy committed suicide
after he found out that his fiance whom he loved very much
died in a car crash. Now I am 20 yrs. old and have not
forgotten it since. It's a memory I will not ever forget.
Thank you for reading my story!
