This happened back in October 2004.
We (my Family) had just found out that one of my parents had committed adultery.
This was very devastating to my family. It would be to
anyone. We are very religious so this was a very wrong
thing to do. After we found out, we all had our say about
the parent that committed the sin. We were saying very
harsh and rude things. I have three sisters, my older
sister and I are married. My two younger sisters still are
at home, and my husband and I thought it would be best to
stay there and support my younger sisters who were having a
hard time with the news.
We decided to sleep in my 18 year
old sister's bedroom. My sisters on her bed and me and my
husband on the floor. We all drifted off asleep, when I
woke up about 30 minutes into my sleep, I was on my side
facing my husbands back, he too was on his side. I moved
my left arm down towards my waist when my hand grasped onto
something. I knew right away that is was an ankle. I
froze, I was so scared! Everyone else was asleep and it
was all dark in the room. My hand kept moving up and down
so I felt an ankle and also a part of a calf. I tried to
let go but it wouldn't let me. My heart was racing and I
was starting to sweat. I remember hearing myself
saying "Who are you? What do you want?" It would not
answer me. I had the feeling it was standing above me
looking down at me. I couldn't move my head to look up,
even if I could have moved I don't think I would have
looked up at this thing. Finally after starting to yell
these phrases, my sister sat up and said "Are you okay?
Who are you talking to?" As soon as I heard my sister's
voice my hand fell to the floor and I felt a peace come
over me. I started to breathe normally again and my husband
turned over and wrapped his arms around me. I fell
immediately asleep.
Nothing else has ever happened to me
since then. I know my dad and sister have had some creepy
experiences. I know that this was an evil spirit that we
had invited into our home because of what was going on. My
parents are still together and have worked everything out.
They are in love more than ever before!
