w w w . c a s t l e o f s p i r i t s . c o m WINDOW GHOST There is nothing spooky about my house. My house is not old, it's not secluded, and it has no secret past. Yet, for some reason it seems we have, what I've come to call, a window ghost. I don't spot this ghost very often, and it recently has stopped appearing, but whenever I do manage to catch a glimpse, I always feel uneasy. It all started one day a couple years ago. I was thirteen years old and had just gotten home from Middle School. I was sitting on my couch in our living room, and if you look towards the left there is a window a few feet away from my front door. I would occasionally glance over at that window to see if anyone was coming to my front door or if my parents were home. Well one day, I wasn't paying much attention to the window but I saw someone walk by it in the corner of my eye. Now, in most cases if no one would knock on my front door I would just assume it was nothing, but that day my dog began barking, like she always does, when someone is about to come in the door. I got up, looked out the window, opened the front door..Nothing. From that day on I would always see a figure walk by my front window, causing my dog to bark, around 2:00 every day for a week. It was always in a shadow and I would just see it's profile. I'm not sure what it was or why it decided to come to my house. But one thing is for sure, I'm always wary to open my front door when the doorbell rings, in the back of my mind I'm always suspecting the window ghost to appear on my doorstep. Another incident with the window ghost also occured not too long after this first one. I was on my computer in my bedroom. It was dark, around 9 PM. I heard a tapping noise in my room, at first I thought it was just my ceiling fan. I turned off the fan but the tapping continued. I finally realized it was coming from outside my window..I would hear 10 taps, then it would stop for about a minute, then continue again. It just kept going on and on. I finally decided to let my brother listen, he heard it and immediately got scared, at that time it had just occured to me to open my blinds and look.. I pushed them aside and sure enough, there was nothing outside my window, we even went outside and looked and there was nothing. Eventually the tapping stopped. I feel as if, this thing..or ghost.. Is trying to get into my house, I'm not sure of its reasons and I don't know if I want to find out. Submitted From: Emily, FL, USA
