My brother and I were visiting my cousin's house, like we did almost every other week. But this week was unlike any other.

They lived on a very long street with a long string of neighbors. So they had one on either side. Although, the house on their left was abandoned. Or so I thought.
Being 5 years old, I was obsessed with the game "Tag". As was my brother and counsin, both being 7. We were all running around the abandoned house playing tag because we didn't want to annoy anyone by playing in the house. I ran past the window, and for some reason, something told me to look up. When I did, I couldn't believe what I saw. There was a little girl, who looked to be about the age of 8 or 9. And strangely, she was in black and white. It was like she was from right out of an old movie. Even though she was in black and white, I could tell she had blonde hair. It was long, wavey, and very beautiful. She had on an old fashioned little girl dress and a bow in her hair. And she gazed at me with a blank stare. Not scary, creepy or happy. Just blank. And I returned the stare. I quickly turned to my brother and cousin, and franitcally waved them over to see what I saw. They ran over to see what made me so paranoid. Looking up, they saw absolutely nothing. Both of them stared at me with a puzzled look, and walked away. She was gone. And she left the curtains swaying back and forth.

I don't know if what I saw was the little girl that originally lived there. That could have even been her bedroom that she was in. I dont know for sure. But what I do know is that I saw her.
