Let me start off by telling you a little about myself: My name is Denise and I'm 11 years old, but don't my age stop you from reading these experiences, because they are not about me. They happened to my parents. I have always been interested (and freaked out) about the supernatural. At school, all I write about is haunted houses, alien encounters, etc., so I don't really mind being called a freak =) So enjoy these odd happenings that I have listed below, and if you have any questions or comments please E-mail me
HAUNTED HAWAII
Before I was born, my parents visited Hawaii for a vacation. My mother brought along her friends, Donna and Sheran (It was Sheran's mother's house that they stayed in). Well, one day, Donna went upstairs to the bathroom to take a shower. My mother and Sheran took a walk outside, and my father went to the kitchen to make a sandwich (he didn't know my mom wasn't in the house). He pulled out a chair from the breakfast table and walked over to the fridge to get some bread. All of a sudden, he heard a footsteps clattering on the tiles of the kitchen. My dad turned around, but there was nothing there. He dismissed any paranormal thought and went back to making his sandwich. But then he heard a chair screech out from the table, he turned around and saw two chairs pulled out of the table, rather than one. He called out to see if anybody else in the house had done it, but the shower was still running upstairs and my mom and Sheran were still outside. When they got back, my dad told Sheran what had happened. She said, "Oh, that was just my great grandmother. She passed away a long time ago, but she visits us and checks up on me a lot."
ARIZONA MYSTERY
My family visited Sadona, Arizona for a vacation several years ago. My mom and I stayed in a hotel while my dad visited his Aunt Winnie. He was gone for one day, but when he got back he told us what happened: His aunt had said that her place was haunted. She is pretty old, and not quite right up in the head =) but she swore that some nights, there were ghosts that passed through her front gate, into her kitchen, and out through her bedroom. My dad didn't believe it until he left .
When my father left, he waved goodbye through the back window of his truck. There was a bench just outside the front door of Winnies' house, and my dad got freaked because he saw a women dressed in blue sitting on it. She had not been there before. Well, my dad tried to turn around to see what it was, but Winnie turned the porch light off so it was pitch black. My dad says that what he saw looked transparent, but it could have been a blue tarp or something. I doubt it, though, because he did not recall it being there when he arrived at the place.
These are only a select two of many that me and my parents have experienced. I hope you have enjoyed them both.
