Welcome to the Castle of Spirits Artwork section. This is a place for you to show your creative side. Of course, there are guidelines so please read below before making a submission:
First and foremost - artwork is NOT to depict any kind of torture, abuse, or extreme violence towards people or animals, real or imagined. Mild violence is acceptable if used in the proper context (someone on the losing end of a duel, for example) but I will be the final judge as to what is appropriate.
Artwork can be 3D or 2D.
ORIGINAL and unique artwork only, please. No trolling other sites to steal pictures; or if you have a DeviantArt page or similar, please don’t submit those pictures here.
Artwork is to reflect the spirit of the site – ghosts, spirits, shades, wraiths, demons, glowing eyes, faces in the window, that sort of thing. I’ll accept some degree of mythical creatures, but please no pictures of yourself on a unicorn or bunnies dancing through fields of daisies.
Blood is fine… just keep #1 in mind. Can’t have a good “bleeding walls” picture without the blood now, can we? :)
Credit your work – make sure your name or nom de plume is in the picture somewhere and legible. You never know who may be browsing.
Please realize this is the Internet – I have no intentions of selling or slapping your artwork on a t-shirt (at least not without your permission) but that doesn’t mean someone else won’t. Unfortunately I can’t control others who visit this site so if your artwork shows up somewhere else you didn’t expect or want, you will not hold me responsible. Artwork submitted to Castle of Spirits is at your own risk.
Have fun with it. This isn't anything serious, just enjoy and let your creative juices flow.
To submit your art, attach a picture/scan/rendering to an email and send to CastleofSpirits@live.com. Please be sure to put "Artwork Submission" in the subject line. I'll have a look and if I like what I see, I'll post it to the artwork gallery and inform you. If you don't hear from us... well, just think of it as an opportunity to improve and resubmit at a later time. I'm not an art critic but I like to think I know what's viewable.
