Hilltop Mystery

Seven of us (All guys) had gone on this trip to a beautiful hillside resort very close to Bombay city called Panchagani. We put up in our friend's house. Now...this house is located at a great height and you can see the green valley stretching across on one side and on the other side, you see high mountains.

So, it was about 1 o'clock in the night and all of us were sitting on the verandah drinking beer and talking about politics. The atmosphere was slightly misty and chilly. All of a sudden, all of us...I repeat ALLof us at once felt the presence of someone else amongst us. All at once, we felt that we were being watched. And, we were all horrified...to the point of not being able to get out of our seats. We were paralyzed with fear. We were all working adults when this happened.

Somehow, we managed to get into the house and sat there praying to GOD to save us from whatever it was lurking outside and suddenly, the lights went out and we heard a dog howl. The guy sitting next to me started sobbing with fright.

It went away as suddenly as it had come. We felt pretty much ok after the feeling of terror passed over. The next morning, just outside our house we saw a dead dog.

What it was, what it wanted, and how it scared all of us at the same time without being visible, I don't know and I don't think I want to find out.
