My Own Brother

It was around 6th grade when I was about 11 or 12. My sister and I shared a bedroom, and we had both fallen asleep in the same twin-sized bed watching something on the laptop.
It was around 2:30 A.M. when I randomly woke up, which I do all the time so it was normal, and I turned to see a shadow at the foot of the bed facing my way. It was really typical looking, glowing slightly blue, but still very transparent. It was a male who looked anywhere from 19-26 years old. We just stared at each other for a while, eyes completely locked and both of us frozen, but I wasn't scared. That was until I blinked and suddenly he wasn't there anymore.
I shot up, turned on a small lamp, and sat in a chair beside my sisters bed for about 10 minutes crying. I didn't want to wake her up just to tell her that I saw a ghost since she's 3 years older than me, but I woke her up anyways.
When I woke her up, she was a little off since it was out of nowhere, but she still let me cry. I told her what happened and she told me that my mom keeps a box of my brothers stuff at the top of our closet. My mom had him about 10 years before she had me. He passed away soon after he was born.
I never told my mom because I didn't want to bring a horrible memory back. The weird thing is that I was amazed and definitely taken back from this, but I wasn't scared.
My sister and I no longer have to share a room. I still sleep in the same room, though, with my brothers stuff still at the top of my closet. That was four years ago, and it never happened again.
