Relatives Visiting From The Grave

I recently moved into my grandmom's house to help her out, since she is ill. My whole life I had always felt strange in her house, always scared. She used to tell me all the time that my grandfather and uncle (who both died in the living room on seperate occasions, and before I as born) came to visit her. I never believed her, but still refused to sleep there for a few years.

So, when I moved in, everything was normal. She changed rooms, and gave me her old room (where most of the sightings occured, and is where my father and his brothers slept as children).
Being older and wiser, I didn't even give it a second thought, and settled into the bedroom.

Within the first couple nights, things started to happen.

On many nights, I was, and still am, awakened by what feels like someone sitting on the edge of the bed. I can feel the weight on the side of me. When I wake up, no one is there.

One night I decided to wear a sleep mask over my eyes. I remember waking up and I felt that the face mask had fallen down and was hanging around my neck. The next thing I knew I felt a pair of hands push it back up over my eyes.

The next morning I thanked my grandmom for doing that, and she swore up and down that she was sleeping.

When we are downstairs watching TV, you can hear someone walking upstairs almost every night. The floor creaks unmistakably, and we know someone is walking. I also hear someone walking in her room at night, while at the same time I can hear her snoring.

One morning, I woke up to go to work at 6am. I was downstairs about to leave when I heard what sounded like a music box, playing a song. It sounded just like a music box or a kids keyboard, ya know with the same tones. Every time I tried to figure out where it was coming from, it moved to another area. I asked my grandmom about it later, and the only thing she could come up with was a song that her son (my uncle) used to sing when he was little. When I hummed it, she knew that was it.

On Mother's Day, my grandmom was storing some blankets on the top shelf of my closet. Something fell, and when she reached down to get it, she saw it was a mother's day card that my uncle had sent to her the year before he died. She was so upset by this, I had to come home from work to calm her down.

I have never seen anything, except when I was sitting on my bed one night on the phone with my boyfriend. The door was open, my light was on, the hall light was not. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw a white flash pass the door. I stayed on the phone with my boyfriend, and just turned the light on. Before I moved in my grandmom has seen figures in her room in the middle of the night. One time she had to go to the bathroom and she woke up and saw a huge black figure standing in the doorway. She stayed in bed and kept peeking to see if it was still there. About an hour later, it was finally gone.

I have never seen these figures, and hope to God that I never do. I'm not scared of what is happening now, because I know in my heart that they are there to see her, not me. None of it really bothers me.

So, I guess that's why they haven't shown me much. They are making themselves known, but leaving me alone. Has anyone ever heard of this? Where one relative is "picked on" more than another?
