The Rock

Well I don't know how to start this story, but I am going to try and do my best.

My daughter (she was 3 at the time) was going to this daycare and they had collected some rocks and had painted them for their parents. When she had brought them home I had put the painted rocks above (there were about 3 rocks) the sink on the window sill. Well, I would say about two weeks to 3 weeks later I had noticed that every time I would wash the dishes one rock was always inside or on top of the counter near the sink. I didn't pay any mind to it and just put it back in it's place. So one day my sister-in-law was over and she decided to wash the dishes for me. When she was about to start she questioned me about the rock in the sink and I had told her to just put it back on the window sill (meanwhile I was getting a little freaked out). She had told me that she was going to throw it out because it was black and I had told her OK. Anyways, we were both watching a movie that night and it began to get chilly in the house, so I had asked my sister-in-law to close the kitchen window. When she went to close the window she saw the same rock that she had thrown away back on the counter near the sink. She screamed and I was also freaked out.

So before we both went to bed we threw the same rock away (this time in a seperate bag) and both made sure this time it was in the trash. The next day my sister-in-law and I went to take the trash and dump it into the dumpster near my housing complex. We both made sure that the rock was in the dumpster, which it was. (My sister-in-law lived only 2 houses away). After dumping it in the dumpster we went to her house and started drinking coffee in the kitchen, she went to her bedroom to show me what she had bought and all of sudden I saw her running out of the house screaming and I am like what the hell?. So I ask her to calm down and tell me what was wrong and she started to cry as she is telling me the rock was on her pillow. I went in and investigated and saw the same thing.

I don't know and can't understand what happened to her and I but that is something we both will never forget.
