Catching A Ride

My 8 year old daughter and I went to my nieces 2nd birthday party and really enjoyed ourselves. We got there about 4:30 and left at 7:30. They had the party at my sister's mother-in-laws house and I had only been there one other time. I kinda got lost going home but finally found my way to the freeway. Traffic was backed up so we had to wait before we could get onto the freeway. We were stopped adjacent to an old cemetery that is alongside the freeway.
I had passed it on the freeway many times and wondered how the people got in to visit their loved ones. It was kinda depressing to see it next to the freeway because it seemed to me like it should be in a more peaceful setting. This was the first time I had really gotten closer to it and could study it.
Anyway, as I was looking over at the tombstones and waiting my turn to get closer to the on-ramp, my daughter said, "Ew it looks like there's a man in our car!" I said, "What?" She was looking at my rear view mirror and said "Yeah, he's got a beard and mustache. His hair is black." I said, "Where is he?" She said, "Right there!" and kept looking in the mirror. I said, "Does he look scary?" and she said, "No, he looks happy." Well I had merged onto the freeway by now and was trying to concentrate on my driving and not make a big deal out of it. I got busy with other things when I got home and didn't bring the subject up with my daughter until we were snuggling in my bed that night. I asked her to describe the man to me but she said she didn't want to talk about it right then because she didn't want to get scared and not be able to sleep.
I brought the subject up again the next morning. She said he was standing (not sitting) in our back seat and he had a lot of "gel" in his hair and he was doing this (She puts this huge grin on her face showing lots of teeth). He was wearing a white shirt and pants. I said, "Are you sure he was wearing white pants and a shirt?" She said "Yes of course, because he was a ghost."
