Dartford Cemetery Haunting

I was a junior in high school at the time of the event. A group of a few friends and I had been looking for a place to check out during late October due to the Halloween season. One that caught our attention was in Green Lake, WI at a place known as Dartford Cemetery. Seeing how the cemetery was only 20 minutes away, we decided to venture out at around 10.00pm to check it out.

Upon arriving, there was nothing out of the ordinary. It looked to just be a cemetery. My 2 friends and I got out of the car and walked into the darkness with the only light reflecting off the the old tomb stones. The dare that we were to face was to sit on the mausoleum that was rumored to contain the bodies of children who had been stricken with polio and died. As we walked closer to the landmark, I accidentally stepped on a grave. Suddenly a feeling of ice crept up my leg as if I was being grabbed. I quickly moved and told the others. I looked for a name on the headstone, but it was too old to read.
Once we got to the cement-made mausoleum, we all decided to climb up on it. Only my friend Josh and I knew about the rumor of being pushed off the top by a "ghost".
We sat around, had a cigarette, and felt disappointed. We decided to get off, but as Josh and I stood up, Tom fell off of the top. I was amazed but at the same time in awe of what power beyond the grave could be to blame for this event. The roof of the structure was not at all slippery.
As we walked back to the car, we also had a feeling of being watched and Tom claimed to have seen shadows moving between headstones.
I have not been to Dartford Cemetery in several years due to attending a college that is 2 hours away, but it always intrigues me to think about what kinds of paranormal activity could be at work for what we all experienced that night.
