Eli

Ihad wrote submitted a story only a few days earlier when this happened. To update you from my last experienced story, incase you have not read it yet, I had a friend named Eli, who ended being dead, and I finding out through a Ouija Board. (A lot easier to understand if you read the story) Anyways, last night while I was lying in bed, I felt a cold presence in my room. It was a very familiar presence. I automatically knew who it was. I quietly called out, "Eli?" Then I saw a figure in the corner of my room. Sure enough, there he was. He smiled at me and nodded his head. He had not been like I had seen him before I had found out his "secret." He was now almost as though I could see right through him. I slowly sat up in my bed and watched him. I asked, "Is there something you want?" He walked or shall I say seeming to almost "float" over to my bedside. He sat down next to me and placed his hand on my cheek. It felt icy cold. I noticed what looked like a tear roll down his cheek. It sparkled like a star as it fell to the covers on the bed. For a few moments it stayed very quiet in there. Just him and I sitting in the dark. I could tell something was wrong, but I couldn't put my finger on it. After getting a bit worried I asked, "What's wrong?" Eli stayed silent. I myself started to cry feeling a bit uneasy sitting here with a ghost that had something wrong. Then I heard a silent whisper, "How could you see me?" I smiled and just shook my head, "I don't understand it either." I felt an odd presence come over us. I don't know what was happening but my entire room started to fill with a white glow. I looked at Eli's eyes which were a pale blue. He looked so sad. Then he said one last thing, "I wish I could stay. I love you." He gave me a kiss on the cheek, just like the one I had in my last experience. I asked him, "Where are you going?" There was no answer. Then he smiled and slowly faded away saying, "I am always with you." Since last night I have been very confused. Did Eli "cross over" or did he just disappear? I wish I knew but I don't think I will be seeing him for a long time. But maybe I'm wrong, maybe our paths are still yet to cross. Thanks. I hope you believe what is true.
