Green Triangles and Other Weird Experiences

This is a story that my mom told me about when she was younger. She only told me and my sisters because she thought she was crazy, that is until I ran across some other people's stories about green triangles and I told her so she asked me to submit this:

When my mom was about 10 years old, she, her mom and dad and 5 brothers and sisters were driving on a road trip. My grandpa became tired and had to pull over to get some sleep. Everyone but my mom was asleep when she looked out the car window to see three green triangles floating out in the distance in the desert. She leaned back, thinking that she was seeing things, and closed her eyes. About a minute later, she opened her eyes and looked out the window again to see that the triangles closer. She again leaned her head back and closed her eyes. After a couple minutes, she looked back out the window and there they were, right in front of the window. She became frightened and leaned back, covering the window with the curtain. After she calmed down, she looked out again and they were gone.

My mom has also had an experience with spinning lights.

She was in her backyard, alone, around midnight when she heard a spinning sound. She was about 17 and this was a couple weeks before she was shipped off to the army. She looked up to see spinning colored lights. She ran inside to wake her dad but by the time he woke up, they were gone.

Nothing else weird ever happened to her again.
