Haunted Hill

My friend and I were hiking on my grandmother's property, a rocky, steep hill behind my grandmother's house. We were looking for interesting rocks and arrowheads, when we heard sobbing, we assumed that my little sister had followed us up and had hurt herself, so we looked for her. Then we heard whispers, a girl and a BOY! So, puzzled, we went forward towards the sound, and suddenly my friend started to act funny, I asked her what was wrong. She said that the children we were looking for were dead, died a long time ago, and that their names were Matthew and Anne. Anne was nine and Matthew was six. They had fallen down the hill and died a long time ago. I asked her if she was joking, how would she know, and I asked her to swear on a stack of bibles that she was telling the truth. She did, and just said that it had just came to her.

We continued up to try and find them, or see anything, I began to feel a little funny myself, and I got a sense that Matthew and Anne had died sometime in the early 1900's or late 1800's. My friend and I finally got to the top, we looked, but could find nothing, finally after a hour or so, I suggested that we go down to my grandmother's and then come up later. When we got down the my grandmothers house, we wrote down that the ghosts names were Matthew and Anne, they had fallen down the hill, and had probably died in the 1800 or 1900's. We put the notebook in my friends bookbag, and then went to eat lunch. When we came back out to get the paper and review it. It was gone, we went through the notebook page by page, but it was gone.

We never found the paper ever again, and when we went to back up to the hill, my grandma would not let us. So to this day, it is still a mystery to us.
