Man In White

This experience happened to me when I was around 12, and I am now 19.
I have a grandmother that lives in a forest near the Blue Ridge Mountains. When I visited her, I would find arrowheads around her property. She told me her house was built near an Indian Burial ground.
During an unusually warm Autumn night, I was going to bed when I heard a crash downstairs. I grabbed my baseball bat in case it was a burglar, but only found one of my grandmother's vases broken on the floor. I thought it was my grandmother's cat, Sophie, but she was in the laundry room.
I walked back upstairs, slightly spooked. When I was in the middle of the hallway, it suddenly became freezing cold. The air conditioner was nowhere near the hall. It was dark and I heard footsteps coming from behind me. I ran into my room and hid under the blankets. I peeked and saw nothing. I went back to sleep and for the following days, saw nothing.
Then, the on the third or fourth night, I woke up to go to the bathroom. As I was passing the kitchen, I stood motionless in front of the door. There was a man in the kitchen. I stared, frozen, wondering if he was a burglar. But I had a calm feeling about him, like he wouldn't hurt me. He was dressed totally in white. I had the most serene feeling in my mind. I stared at him for about forty-five seconds when he turned around. I can clearly picture his face:
He had a long face, was around thirty-five or forty years old. He had brown hair, and he had a happy expression on his face. He then disappeared. I went back to bed, not scared or frightened in any way.
The next morning, there was a startling revelation. My grandmother told me that the last owner of the house was a young man, exactly as I described. She said that one night, he was driving home on a winter night and his car lost control and crashed. He was in the hospital for a few days, but it was too late. His family decided to sell the house to my grandmother. I told her my experience and she believed me. The appearance of this man was caused partially by the presence of the Burial Ground. My guess is that he loved that house and didn't want to leave it. And may his soul rest in peace.
