Melbourne Ghost Tour
Kellie, Adelaide, South Australia
February 2000
Irecently went on a ghost tour around Melbourne, which I found on this site. We started off the tour at the haunted bookshop, owned byDrew Sinton, on McKillop St Melbourne. We started off the tour, at the Francis Hotel, and made our way around the streets of Melbourne. We arrived at the old Cobb & Co building, where at the turn of the century, the old horse and carts used to come in.
About 50 years ago a man killed people using an axe and apparently he still haunts the upstairs balcony. As soon as I walked in there, I felt a bad presence, like there wasn't something nice in there, at this stage he hadn't told the story, and I looked up towards the balcony and in the doorway I saw a man dressed in white carrying something, I was at the front of the group and slowly made my way to the back of the group, I ended up crying, because I had a wave of emotion sweep over me. After it appeared to me, was when Drew Sinton our tour guide told us the story. He said the man was wearing a white shirt and was carrying and axe.
That really freaked me out, that was my experience.
