My Mum Sees It Too

New Zealand
July 2005

I'm about to share with you some recent paranormal experiences I've had. I am 12 years old and a firm believer in the paranormal. Now, have you ever know an adult to believe your stories? Well my mum isn't a great believer but after talking to her about what I've seen and heard, I'd have to say her opinion has changed.

When I was about 9 years old I woke up in the middle of the night, sitting bolt upright, the way you wake from a very bad dream. A millisecond later a pale green coloured skeletal spirit came whipping through the wall opposite the one my bed is backed up against. I remember looking at it's jagged bones for hands and fingers. It was wearing a short cloak too. Well it screamed and went straight through me! I screamed too of course, but nobody else in the household heard me. I was so scared that I threw the blankets over me and lay there, shaking and growing stiffer by the minute.

The worst night of my life occured when I was about 10 or 11. I woke up, as I usually do every night. I rolled over to go back to sleep, but I was kept awake by creaking noises, clicking noises, heavy footsteps and so on. This went on until I finally went to sleep. But I was so frightened because my vision was going blurry as well! I think I was blacking out or something. I had to keep blinking to make my vision steady. I don't know how I survived that night. So many other strange noises occured... Chairs moving around... I even heard a scream like a rat that had just been killed!

Now for recent events. Sometimes, out of nowhere I see something out of the corner of my eye. Transparent figures and peculiar shapes. Sometimes I see it right in front of me for a split second. I talked to my mum about it the other day and she said she'd been experiencing the same thing! But she said sometimes she would see a dark shape out of the corner of her eye and moving slightly! Also, my dog wouldn't go into the bathroom for about 2 weeks at one stage. Her water bowl hadn't been touched. She always looked towards her bed while standing at the bathroom door. It freaked me out. A couple of times my dog stood at the french doors in my dads office and stared at something out in the garden, not moving, just staring and staring. I let her out one time and she ran out a couple of metres, stood for a few seconds to stare and then came rushing back in...

Yesterday my cat was in my room. She kept pausing and staring at something near the roof of my room. She even followed something moving across the room with her eyes!

Well I think something is definitely going on here and it unsettles me a bit.

What do you think?

Thanks for reading my story!
