The Ghost With No Legs

When I lived in Ohio our house burned and we rented an apartment from a friend of our's.This was a 3 story house. We rented the 2nd floor while we were waiting for our insurance money to buy up the street from our old house. The kitchen was separated from the other rooms by a hallway and there was a small window above the door. So we would leave the light on in the hall so we could see at night.

One night something woke me up, I could see because of the light from the hall. I was sleeping on the right side of the bed. I was afraid for some reason, I felt like someone was looking at me. Then I saw a man standing at the foot of the bed looking at my husband. I was afraid and I thought someone had broken into the house. Then the man moved to the foot of the bed on my side. I saw him, he had on a red and black flannel shirt and dark pants. He was an older man. It seemed like he stood there forever. My heart was pounding I didn't know what he was going to do. Then all of a sudden he was leaving, that's when I saw he didn't have any legs from the knees down. I grabbed my husband and said "did you see that?!". He didn't see anything. So I just lay there shaking, then all of a sudden my 2 yr. old came running and jumped in bed with us.I lay there until daylight, then I went to sleep. When I woke up it was about 8.30am, my son was downstairs at my friends house. I went right down and my friend said "Bonnie do you know what Bryan said?" he told her some man picked him up and lay him back down and went up on the 3rd floor. Then I told her what happened and she turned as white as a ghost. She said the man that lived up stairs years ago died in the hallway in his wheelchair. He couldn't walk because he did not have any legs.
