The Little Girl (3)
Anne, NJ, USA
July 2003
I have lived at my house for 9 years. Ever since my family moved here, we have had, well, odd experiences. I would like to tell you some of the more memoral experiences in this passage.
Sometimes, late at night when I am still awake lying in bed, I hear a voice of a little girl. The first time I heard her, I was probably about 5. All she said was "Hi!" and I turned on the light to see who it was and no one was there. This has happened many times and just a few nights ago, she said "Anne!"
I have a little sister who is probably the age of this "ghost girl." She has also seen some weird things. A few months ago, my sister and my mother were in the kitchen late at night, and my sister claims to have seen something fall off of the railing onto the stairs. But no one was there, and not a sound was made.
Quite recently, I was standing outside next to the car, when I felt a presence right behind me. I was so sure that someone was there that I turned around. But no one was there. Then I turned the other way, and I still didn't see anyone. So I screamed my sister's name and ran to the door, where I was sure I would see her smiling at me, but no one was there! Then, as I was getting into the car, I saw a dark shadowy shape cross the yard.
Well, I made up my mind that a little girl had died on this spot before we moved in, although I have not been able to research it thoroughly. One night, a story just came to me in my head, and I wrote it down. I hadn't been thinking about anything related to the story or the ghost girl, so where it came from I cannot explain. But it talked about a little girl who had frozen to death where I now call home. Pretty creepy, huh?
Well I don't know what truly happened, or what will happen in the future, but one thing is for sure. Something lives in this house.
