UFO Encounter

Well, this was my one and only encounter with what I truly believe to be a UFO.

It was late September of my junior year of high school, and my family was getting ready to go to Church that evening. I walked out of the house ahead of everyone, and my brother followed. It was still broad daylight out, and it had not started to get dark out. A glimmer in the sky caught my attention. I looked up, and across the street above my neighbor's house was this "thing". It was long, I guess about 100-150 feet, and bright silver in color. It was shaped like a zeppelin, only rounder, like a pill, with one fin-looking extension on the top at the rear end. It just sort of hovered there, over my neighbor's house. But before I could get my brother's attention, it took off, faster than anything I've ever seen fly, and disappeared into the blue sky, the sun glinting off it before it was gone. I've told a few people about it, and they've had their doubts, but there is no doubt in my mind that it existed.
